Just what was needed. June 23, 2008 Work of Life (Miami, Florida USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Great, but intense brush up on Java/J2EE for those interviewing with Google, Microsoft, Amazon or any of the other "rigorous interview" tech companies.
The Best March 1, 2009 Murali K. Sreenivasan 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is one of the best books that talk about the J2EE concepts in detail. This book helped me gain a more thorough understanding of J2EE concepts. I learnt a lot from this book eventhough I had 12 yrs of mostly java and j2ee related experience.
An excellent book not just for interviews December 28, 2007 Sudhakar Parsi (Lexington, KY United States) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
An excellent book. Not only for the J2EE interviews but a very good book for refreshing Java/J2EE concepts. Many times, it happens that, we would have worked on a particular technology very well a while ago, but we may not be able to answer even fundamental questions if we do not refresh our knowledge before interview. That is where this book will be very useful.
excellent , got me a good job at first chance September 9, 2007 Moon 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
This is really a good book and i would recommend it for all the candidates who is trying to seek a new job in java/j2ee field .covers almost everything that an interviewer can ask , and if any candidate goes through every line of the book , then i think its impossible for anyone to do an interview badly even if you have not worked in some frameworks as this book is decorated with extremely good examples for interview purpose and covers all the latest j2ee topics and framework .
But this book is not dictionary for java learning though , there is 100% chance that a person can go through the interview well if the candidate as gone through everyword in this book .Explains all the core concept in a simple question and answer form and also underlines the important ones.I myself got a good job and not only did i do the inteview well , i was also confident that i would do a good interview that must have showed in my attitude aswell during the interview.
Thanks to Arulkumaran for writing this book.
Would definitely recommend April 19, 2008 Sunil (Saint Paul, MN, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
All J2EE technologies that came until 2007 in one book. It helped me gain real good understanding on issues related to performance. Author has very good knowledge on issues related to J2EE.
Cons are the price. Maybe book is a little bit overpriced. Maybe should reduce by 5$ to get more buyers. But there is good content.
