My devotional group is a group of nurses which starts each morning with a devotional. We used this book as a guide, and the messages each day were easily applied to each of our lives.

I received this as a gift from a friend, and it is by far the best devotional I've read. Like the previous reviewer, I am a stay-at-home mom. I have a very energetic, strong-willed 3-year old boy. Life is non-stop and hectic, so I don't have much time to read long, complicated devotionals that take a lot of time. These are all quick but very impactful daily devotionals that are very deep and meaningful, despite their brevity. I apply them to every area of my life, and it is always just the thing I need for that particular day. Sometimes, I'll go back and re-read one that applies to a specific challenge I may be facing. This is one book I will keep with me always.

I had been given this book as a gift several years ago and thoroughly
enjoyed it. This Christmas I gave seven out to friends as gifts and they are enjoying it also. It is hard for me to find time during the day to sit down and read which is why this little book worked out beautifully for me. It is along side my bed and at night I read just two pages before falling asleep. Nice way to close out my day.

I am a stay @ home mom with a 3yr. old and a 10 mo. old. This is perfect for anyone who needs a pick me up. Just a couple minutes with God to begin your day or throughout your day. I enjoyed this and look forward to getting the rest of the devotionals. I plan to give these as gifts. I think it would be perfect. I hope you all read this and enjoy as I have. God bless you.
